MLS Program Education Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program Education Coordinator is primarily responsible for faculty guidance to facilitate the MLS program's student laboratory educational phase for Omaha and off-campus sites; MLS program additional laboratory learning activities; special projects; and College of Allied Health Professions, and Clinical, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Science Department student recruitment; and admitted student advising. This position plays a pivotal role in collaborating with a variety of MLS and CAHP stakeholders to ensure positive student and faculty outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Science.
• 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent.

 

• Knowledge of medical laboratory science profession and curricula.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and multitasking skills.
• Prior experience in developing and delivering presentations.
• Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Outlook,MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience.
• Canvas, ExamSoft, Echo360, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
