Rehab Associate/Therapy Aide - Omaha (40 hrs, Days Mon-Fri)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates patient care by understanding and utilizing rehabilitation program policies and procedures and job descriptions.
• Reviews daily patient schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Objectively reports clinical observations to supervising clinician.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and order new supplies as indicated.
• Produces and follows accurate daily RA schedules.
• Follows direction from occupational therapist in patient activities of daily living needs and provide direction to unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Follows direction from physical therapist in patient mobility and transfer needs.
• Follows direction from speech therapist in patient activities related to feeding and swallowing.
  QUALIFICATIONS:
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska
• Requires 6 months previous CNA experience.
• Successful completion of 80-hour Rehabilitation Associate course which includes 100% class attendance and a post test score of 80% or above.
• Valid Nebraska driverâ??s license and proof of good driving record preferred.
• Incumbent must be 18 years of age or older.
