Temporary Production Worker – PowerReel Department (1st or 2nd Shift)

Location: Harlan, IA
Assignment Length: Up to 3 months
Shift Options: 1st or 2nd Shift

Conductix-Wampfler, a leader in industrial products and solutions, is seeking a full-time temporary worker to support our PowerReel Department by soldering rings essential to our reel assembly process. This role helps fill in for automated equipment that is currently offline and plays a critical part in keeping production moving smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Perform soldering of rings used in PowerReel assembly
• Follow established procedures to ensure consistent workmanship and product quality
• Use basic hand tools and production equipment (heat guns, soldering tools, etc.)
• Support repetitive, steady-paced production workflows
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Identify and report defective materials, improper operation, or safety concerns

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or work involving hand tools preferred
• Ability to reliably perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow production processes
• Dependability, good work ethic, and commitment to safety
• Someone who can contribute immediately in a fast-moving production environment
• Must meet standard onsite requirements (including any applicable checks or screenings)

Choose your schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri)

OR

• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 12:30am (Mon-Thurs), paid $2 more per hour for shift differential
